Actress Sushmita Sen is currently making headlines for her stellar performances in the recently released web series ‘Taali‘. Recently, the actress opened up about her role in Farah Khan’s 2004 ‘Main Hoon Na’.
In an interview with a news portal, Sushmita revealed that her role in the film was shortened in the final edit, it garnered her lot of acclaim, including praise from the late filmmaker Yash Chopra.
The actress added how Shah Rukh improvised her iconic introduction scene in the film where he opens his arms upon seeing her approach.
The ‘Taali’ actress shared that she was shivering and stammering during the scene due to her attire – chiffon saree – while Shah Rukh wore a warm sweater.
Sushmita revealed that she got a call from Farah Khan who apologised to her after her role in the movie was cut short in the final edit.
‘Main Hoon Na’ also marked the directorial debut of Farah Khan. It also starred Sunil Shetty, Amrita Rao and Zayed Khan in pivotal roles.
