Shah Rukh Khan had the best first day opening collection for his latest film Jawan where it made Rs 75 crore nett in India and about 54 crore across the globe, taking its global box office number to Rs 129 crore nett. But when it comes to day 2, the numbers are seeing a dip across the board.
The film which was expected to reach at least the first day numbers has failed to do so.The film in India on day 2 as per reports made about 52 crore of which about 46 to 47 crore have come from Hindi version, while the rest from Tamil and Telugu languages. Trade Analyst Ramesh Bala took to Twitter to announce that the film has crossed 200 gross across the globe, he wrote , “#Jawan has crossed ₹ 200 Crs gross at the WW Box office in 2 days.. ”The trade is bullish on the prospect of Jawan catching up with numbers in a big way in the weekend.

Lots of love and gratitude!”
On the day of the release SRK had also thanked all his fan clubs who bought out shows after shows to be among the first people to watch the film. He wrote, “Wow have to take time out and thank each and every Fan Club and all of you who have gone so happily in the theatres and even outside. So overwhelmed will surely do the needful as soon as I get my breath back in a day or so. Uff!! Love u for loving #Jawan”
The film also stars Vijay Sethupati, Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt ( In cameos), Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak Godbole, Sanjeeta Chatterjee and Lehar Khan.
