Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi starrer ‘Jawan‘ has been on a record-breaking spree ever since it released. The film which hit the theatres on September 7, Thursday, has continued to witness a huge growth in business. It clocked the highest grossing opening weekend numbers for a film. The Sunday business was a whopping Rs 70 crore which is the highest one-day business for a film.These numbers came in despite the India Vs Pakistan match and that was a huge surprise for fans. But the craze is hard to miss!

Now all eyes were on Monday and the film hasn’t disappointed. It has an exceptional hold on Monday and will collect around Rs 30 crore as per boxofficeindia.com. This number is considered huge for a non-holiday business, after an extended four-day weekend. These are early estimate numbers but the Monday figures of ‘Jawan’ will be better than that of ‘Pathaan’. ‘Gadar 2‘ had scored better numbers than Rs 30 crore on Monday, but that’s because the next day was a holiday. With this kind of hold, ‘Jawan’ has now reached Rs 278 crore at the domestic box office and will be reaching Rs 300 crore mark in the coming days.
This will make the Rs 500 crore mark at the domestic box office slightly more easy. Though, it has already crossed that huge number worldwide in four days. There’s no major competition for ‘Jawan’ in the coming days and the film can continue to rule the box office for the next two weeks at least.
