Now, in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Atlee revealed that he is working on something special for the OTTversion of ‘Jawan’. According to him, they have given the right ratio of emotions and right length to the theatrical version.Now, for OTT, they are considering a different rhythm to it.
He went on to add that they are working on something and that’s one of the reasons that he refrained from going on his holiday after the release of the film. The south director also revealed that he is working on something and he wishes to surprise all the fans.
After the blockbuster reception of the film at the theatres, reports are also rife that the makers are considering coming up with the sequel of the film. Spilling some beans on the same, Atlee added that every film of his has such an ending. However, he never had a thought of doing a sequel to any of the films.
He also added that he has given an open heart to it. So, if something strong comes to him, he will definitely come up with that. But as of now, he has just kept it very open.
The film marked the debut of Atlee and his first ever collaboration with Bollywood’s Baadshah. The film also starred Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. It also featured actors like Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani and Ridhi Dogra in supporting characters. The makers also roped in Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt in special cameo roles.
The film, which released on September 7, has been making some record-breaking collections at the box office. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer has already crossed Rs 725 crore at the world box office.
