The buzz around Shah Rukh Khan‘s Jawan is all-time high. The trailer of Jawan has raised the anticipation among the audience. The advance booking had begun a couple of days ago and the tickets are selling like hot cakes.
According to the data collected by Sacnilk, Jawan has sold around 432035 tickets for 2D Hindi version and 10464 tickets for Hindi IMAX, followed by 11764 tickets for Tamil and 6305 ticket for Telugu version.
So far, Jawan has sold a total of 460568 tickets in advance booking for day 1. With the remaining seats to be filled at the ticket window, Jawan is expected to make an all-time high numbers.
Going by these numbers, Jawan will aim to Pathaan‘s opening day collection which is an all-time high in India with Rs 57 crore. The Siddharth Anand directorial has also become India’s highest grossing movie with a total collection of Rs 543 crore nett.
After Pathaan, the Hindi version of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali 2 holds the second highest position with a collection of Rs 510 crore. While Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 is trailing Baahubali 2’s lifetime collection with Rs 493 crore currently on the board, Jawan is expected to beat Gadar 2 and it may also challenge Pathaan’s lifetime business.
