Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’ helmed by Atlee is all set to hit the big screens on September 7, and the latest reports suggest that the cast and crew that we currently know is only the tip of the iceberg! If reports are to be believed, Kannada sensation and the ‘KGF’ star Yash, and actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran too are part of SRK’s ‘Jawan’., According to reports, Yash and Prithviraj Sukumaran have dubbed for the Kannada and Malayalam versions respectively.
The trailer of ‘Jawan’ is expected to be dropped today (Aug 28), and a netizen found out that on the film’s IMDB page, the makers have a Special Thanks list, where in Karan Johar, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Yash’s names are listed. The netizens have arrived to the conclusion that both Yash and Prithviraj Sukumaran are dubbing for the Kannada and Malayalam versions of Jawan. And they are wondering who will be dubbing in Tamil! This news has sparked reactions from fans. “Woah!” a netizen commented. Another wrote, “So who is dubbing in Tamil?” Another netizen speculated, “Jawan trailer coming?” A Twitter user said, “Kjo helped Atlee for writing Hindi script. Dont know what’s the case with Prithviraj and Yash (sic).”

Meanwhile, Atlee’s ‘Jawan’ starring Shah Rukh Khan is gearing for release next week (Sep 7). The upcoming film also marks Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s first official pan-Indian release. Superstar Nayanthara has roped in as the female lead. Vijay Sethupathi will be seen playing the role of the antagonist. Deepika Padukone has roped in for a special cameo appearance.

On the technical front, the cinematography for the film is done by GK Vishnu. Ruben is the editor. Anirudh Ravichander is in charge of the music. The production design is done by T Muthuraj.

The pre-release business of the film is quite impressive. According to trade analysts, ‘Jawan has earned close to ₹2 crore in advance booking across 450 locations in the USA, even before the trailer launch. The total number of tickets sold stands at 13750. The advance booking for ‘Jawan’ began 20 days ahead of the film’s release in USA, however, it is yet to begin in India.
