A few days ago, when Alia Bhatt showing her make-up and skincare routine in a video, the actress had displayed how she wears her lipstick. While she showed off her weird, unique way of applying lipstick, she further revealed that her husband Ranbir Kapoor doesn’t like her wearing dark lipstick. Alia said, “Even when he was my boyfriend and we would go out, he would tell me ‘wipe it off’, because Ranbir likes the natural colour of my lips.”
This ‘wipe if off’ comment led to a lot of trolling for them.Many called Ranbir’s behaviour a big red flag for dictating his terms to his wife. However, many also came in support of Ranbir and Alia and said that in a relationship, it’s absolutely okay to be the way the other person likes, happily! She took to her story and shared this note which read, “What’s seeming increasingly idiotic: Cancel culture… People deciding for other people what is wrong with their lives. And then everyone jumping into some discussion or the other about things that actually have nothing to do with them. Funny times we live in.”

Interestingly, in Alia’s latest film, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, Ranveer Singh had a monologue on this ‘cancel culture’ which was loved by the audience. Infact, many thought, it was the best scene in the film.
Meanwhile, on work front, post the success of RARKPK, Alia will be seen reuniting with Ranveer in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Baiju Bawra’ which will reportedly go on floors next year. As per reports, Alia will also be shooting for director Vasan Bala’s next which is a prison break thriller.
