Aditya Roy Kapur delivered one of the biggest hits of OTT this year with ‘The Night Manager’. After a cliffhanger first part, the second installment ensured that Aditya added more fans to his popularity. Acknowledging the success, Aditya shared, “I guess people seemed to love the show (Night Manager) and that feels good as all the hard work has paid off.”
When asked if he is being cautious before signing new projects, thanks to the huge success that the OTT show brought, Aditya quipped, “I think with The Night Manager, I really got to play a character that I haven’t played before and explore something that I hadn’t done before.So, hopefully, I find something again that pushes me as much and takes me into new spaces like The Night Manager did. There’s a bunch of interesting stuff that’s around, and I am excited to see and figure out what’s next.”
Aditya Roy Kapur also began shooting for his next movie, ‘Metro… In Dino’ recently. Spilling the beans on the same, he added, “I think Anurag Basu is the reason why I said yes to the project. I really had a great time working on Ludo with him. The opportunity to get on set again with him was a no-brainer for me. He’s such a master at what he does that it’s just great fun as an actor to work with him. It’s pure joy.”
‘Metro… In Dino’ also features Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on March 29, 2024.
